KHÓI
Hanoi Opened Opening date unknown
Everything touched by smoke or flame
KHÓI means smoke, and the kitchen commits. Almost everything on the menu is smoked, charred or cooked directly over fire, with Japanese grilling technique behind a lot of it. The open kitchen fills the ground floor while the dining rooms sit above.
It's on Trần Hưng Đạo in the French Quarter, in a building with more room to breathe than most Hanoi restaurants get. Grab a seat downstairs if you want to watch the fire work.
