Three broths a day, built on Hanoi study trips

Chef Huỳnh Chí Khang spent months in Hanoi picking apart how the North makes phở before opening Chị Mơ in Thảo Điền. Three separate broths run every day, each chasing a different regional style, and the beef gets a sous-vide treatment that would get you thrown out of a street stall. It works.

Bánh mì and cơm rang round out the menu. The garden spot on Le Van Mien runs 6:30am to 10pm, so it covers breakfast phở and late dinner alike.

Good to know

• Open from 6:30am, one of the better early breakfasts in Thảo Điền.
