Andaz's first Hong Kong hotel, rising over Graham Street market

Hyatt's lifestyle brand finally lands in Hong Kong in 2027, with a 125-room hotel inside Central Crossing on Wellington Street. Wing Tai Properties and CSI Properties are building it around the old Graham Street wet market, one of Central's most fought-over redevelopment corners.

The surviving market stalls, the antique shops on Hollywood Road and the bars of SoHo all sit within a two-minute walk. At 125 rooms, it will be one of the smallest five-star openings in the city, a contrast to the mega-hotels rising across the harbour.

• The site sits where Wellington Street meets the Graham Street market slope, in the middle of Central's food and gallery streets.
