TEMAI
Hong Kong Opened May 2026
Onigiri and bento made to order, five minutes flat
TEMAI is a Japanese counter built for speed: onigiri, donburi bowls and bento sets packed to go, plus a few stools if you want to eat there. The name roughly means hand-cooked, a nod to rice formed and dishes assembled per order instead of sitting pre-packed for hours.
The format is new for a mall that has leaned toward sit-down fine dining. TEMAI's arrival next to Central Table shows Landmark Atrium chasing faster lunch orders from the office towers around it. Small footprint, high turnover, built around a five-minute order rather than a reservation.
