An intimate omakase counter facing San Juan Bay
Grab one of the few counter seats and hand the whole meal over to chef Moon. No menu, no choices, just courses that arrive one after another while San Juan Bay sits right outside the window.
The room is small on purpose, so this isn't a walk-in kind of night. Book ahead and you'll skip the tourist sushi spots scattered around Old San Juan for something closer to a real chef's-counter meal.

Me and my wife were super ecstatic with our experience at Kubo. We were greeted by Karelise at the door, then she guided us to the rooftop where we were sat outside for a few minutes. Rafa the bartender took real great care of us with a few off menu specials while Karelise kept us company and explained what to expect for the rest of our experience. Then we were sat inside the omakase where Chef Moon and Quatro blew our minds with amazing food. Everyone from the customers to the workers were such great company, the atmosphere was unmatched. Our favorite pieces out of the dinner were the Tuna Tartare and A5 wagyu. We had to order extra at the very end because it was so good and the chefs ended up giving us a Handroll to try something new at the end. Karelise at the end handed out a beautiful dessert and we ended our night with a few more drinks outside. Highly recommend for any occasion especially for a cute date with you and yours.

Recently I’ve visited this place because my friends have been mentioning a lot of great things about it and let me tell you all expectations have been exceeded! Food is the best part along side with the view. Drinks were made perfectly and even customer to our liking with the Bartender’s Special. And lastly the hospitality at Kubo is like nowhere I’ve experienced they really make you feel at home and I’m very grateful for the experience. Definitely coming back with my folks!

Our first Omakase experience and it exceeded all expectations! Everything was absolutely delicious, the chefs were super friendly, and the entire staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back for more!

One of the best places we've eaten in puerto rico ! And definitely the best sushi. Chef Moon and Quatro were exceptional . The dishes were unique and creative. The dry aged bluefin was out of this world . We will definitely go again !
