Chinatown's dumpling benchmark, now on Division

QXY has been the reference point for dumplings in Chicago since it opened on Wentworth Avenue in Chinatown. Its Wicker Park sibling opened on Division Street in spring 2026, considerably larger and, unlike the original, taking reservations.

The fillings carried over: pork and cabbage, tomato and egg, beef and onion, each available boiled, fried or steamed. Around them sit pig ears in chilli oil, wood ear salad, lamb skewers and grilled chicken wings. The new kitchen also worked with sommeliers on a wine list built to pair with dumplings, something the Chinatown room never had.
