Baiana
★ 4.7 · 38 reviews Seattle Opened June 2026
Afro-Brazilian cooking in the middle of Pike Place
Baiana opened in Pike Place Market in June 2026, run by a chef who won on both Chopped and Beat Bobby Flay. The TV credits matter less than the menu: moqueca, acaraje, caruru, dishes from Bahia that Seattle has been short on.
It's a small counter, open lunch and dinner every day except Tuesday. Save room for the tapioca donuts.

Finally got the chance to try Baiana, unique and flavorful food in the heart of the market. Friendly and helpful staff, definitely recommend eating here.

If you’re looking for authentic Brazilian food in Seattle, this is the place. I’ve tried several Brazilian restaurants in the area, and Baiana has, without a doubt, the best feijoada I’ve had here. From the very first bite, it took me right back to Brazil. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the garlic farofa deserves a special mention—it was incredible and paired perfectly with the feijoada. You can really tell everything is made with care and authentic flavors. On top of the amazing food, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back. If you’re craving real Brazilian comfort food, don’t miss the feijoada at Baiana!

A fantastic little piece of Bahia Brazil. If you are missing acarajé, abará, and feijoada, you're in the right place. Give a try, it's worth your while. We drove all the way from Canada to experience it. Não deixe de prestigiar a fantástica culinária Bahiana.

Wow got the salmon moqueca wow. Pricey for its portion size but wow….. a gem amongst the many tourist traps in pike place market. Located in a good corner with some sit down space.
