This eight person counter is led by Chef Johnny and partner Jenistar create a luxury Japanese experience. What I love about this place is the willingness for Chef Johnny to explain the seasonal origin of each course, how he made it, and why he is serving it. Jenistar has a full library of boutique sake that tempts all who want to immerse themselves in the full Japanese omakase. Johnny and Jenistar make your experience perfect. I recommend this place to all my friends. My favorite omakase!

Great omakase experience. The fish selection was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, high-quality offerings. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. One thing to note: the restaurant is upstairs, and it’s easy to get confused because there’s another restaurant downstairs. Just head upstairs once you arrive. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Went here for an omakase dinner last night and honestly can't stop thinking about it. Every course was just flat-out delicious. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive without hovering, and the pacing between courses felt just right - never rushed, never waiting too long. The whole evening just flowed. Easily one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Already thinking about when I can come back.

We went to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and overall it was a memorable experience 🤍 Reservation was easy to make through Tock (you have to pay upfront for dinner reservations) and we got there super early to avoid traffic. We were able to wait at the bar area to grab drinks before going upstairs for the main experience. We typically go to NYC for omakase but Raw Omakase exceeded our expectations! Sushi was fresh and all the cooked dishes were amazing as well! Service was amazing & we had a great time 😊 We look forward to dining again for another celebration!

I’ve now visited RAW twice, with another reservation coming up this weekend—something I don’t say lightly. The eight-seat counter creates an atmosphere that feels intimate yet effortless—refined without a trace of pretension. Chef Johnny guides each course with just enough detail to make every bite memorable, not only for its exceptional flavor but for the story behind it. A signature soy-based finish appears throughout the meal—perfectly balanced, with a subtle interplay of heat and salinity that quietly elevates each piece. My first visit was on a quiet weeknight with a friend, and what stood out just as much as the food was the hospitality. At the end of the evening, Chef Johnny personally brought over her coat and helped her into it—a small, thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes. On my second visit, I opted for the beverage pairing, which was exceptional. The sake and wine selections were both thoughtful and high quality, complemented by warm, attentive service that never felt overbearing. With fish flown in multiple times per week, the quality and precision are undeniable. RAW delivers an experience that feels both meticulous and deeply personal—one that continues to draw me back.
