All-day eats, no white tablecloth, right in Landmark Atrium
Skip the fine-dining register of most Landmark tenants. Central Table serves Asian and Western dishes on one all-day menu, open to the atrium's foot traffic like a food-hall stall scaled up rather than a restaurant with its own room.
The Landmark has spent the past couple of years adding faster, cheaper formats like this one and TEMAI alongside destination rooms like Blanc de Noirs upstairs. It's an attempt to hold shoppers through a full afternoon, not just one meal.

We came on a weekend evening and ordered the Chargrilled Dinner Set for 2 ppl. I was sceptical at first because of the bad reviews but I am so glad I took a risk and tried it. Honestly for roughly $350 pp for a 4 course set dinner in Landmark is a crazy good deal. I expected the food to be average at best but the Argentinian Ribeye was much better than I expected, it was medium rare as requested and the fries came out hot and super crunchy. We ordered the mushroom soup for starter and it wasn’t up to par, mushroom wasn’t strong enough and tasted rather bland. I’d rather they gave a smaller bowl of soup but made it more flavourful. For dessert we had Mango Passion Fruit Panna Cotta and Vanilla Crème Brûlée, the panna cotta is definitely suited for those who don’t like sweet dessert, the sauce was very sour and panna cotta subtly sweet. The crème brûlée is top notch, they use real vanilla pods. Don’t go at lunch, go at dinner when they really shine. I look forward to visiting at least once a month from now on.

I've added the complimentary bread and garlic butter as a positive opener to the review, since it was a pleasant surprise. Here's the updated version: --- Central Table – A promising concept with inconsistent execution Central Table at LANDMARK Atrium promises a cross-regional culinary journey, bringing together Southeast Asian spices and European classics under one roof. The space is inviting – warm lighting, marble tabletops, and a lively open kitchen. The all-day dining concept works well for Central's fast-paced crowd. We started with the complimentary bread and garlic butter – and it was a genuinely pleasant surprise. The bread was warm, crusty, and freshly baked, while the garlic butter was fragrant and well-seasoned. A simple but thoughtful touch that set a good tone. We ordered a good spread to try the range. Here's how it went: 🌟 U.S. Clams, White Wine, Coconut Water, Herbs, Butter (HK$228) – Plump, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The coconut water broth was aromatic, with a light sweetness balancing the herbs and butter. A great start. 🌟 Botan Shrimp Ceviche (HK$168) – Hokkaido botan prawns two ways: meat marinated in a spicy-sour dressing, heads deep-fried until crispy. Refreshing, chewy, and packed with roe. Highlight of the night. 🌟 Thongdee Pineapple Salad (HK$108) – Fresh pineapple with dried shrimp, peanuts, and fried shallots. Sweet, tangy, crunchy – simple and well-balanced. 🌟 Homemade Chiang Mai Sausage (HK$218) – Hand-minced pork with lemongrass, galangal, and bird's eye chillies, aged a week. Crispy outside, juicy within. The spice was dialled down for local palates, but the aromatic depth was still there. Royal Thai Watermelon Salad (HK$108) – A royal recipe with watermelon and house-made fish floss. Sweet, salty, fragrant, and crunchy – though the fish floss was a touch too sweet for me. Hokkaido Scallop with Red Curry Foam (HK$138) – Fresh and seared well, but the red curry foam lacked punch. Tomato, Burrata and Gazpacho Jelly (HK$148) – Creamy burrata, refreshing gazpacho jelly. One-night-dry Threadfin (HK$298) – 48-hour dry-aged, grilled to crispy skin and moist flesh. However, despite being marked with one chilli on the menu, it wasn't spicy at all – more sweet than spicy, which was misleading. Skipjack Fish Spaghetti with Seaweed Pesto (HK$298) – Skipjack was fine, but the spaghetti needed more seasoning. The pesto was subtle, overall it felt under-seasoned and lacked boldness. Pandan Noodle (HK$108) – Creative: pandan jelly cut like noodles, with vanilla cream, bird's nest, and pistachio. Visually impressive, but flavours were mild and lacked punch. Thai Green Tea-ramisu (HK$98) – Unfortunately the low point. Thai green tea replaces coffee, but the ladyfingers were so sour (from orange liqueur) that I couldn't finish it. The acidity was completely off, and the tea flavour was barely there. This needs serious reworking. Service & Vibe – Staff were friendly, the space is comfortable with a nice buzz. The open bakery counter adds a nice touch.

My friend and I ordered the fried halibut and it was seasoned well. However, the starter bagel was dry and I’m not sure if it was old, but it wasn't as fresh as others I’ve tried elsewhere. The salad on the other hand was really good and the rice was quite nice by Asian standards. The seating arrangement wasn't what I expected from an upscale eatery. We were so cramped that I could actually hear the conversations from the table next to the table beside us. This unintentionally forced us to speak louder just so my friend and I could hear each other. My order came out to 238 HKD with iced lemonade which I think reasonable for the portion size. Overall, the experience was okay, especially considering that you aren't expected to leave immediately after finishing your meal.

Amazing food. All so diverse but each dish executed to high quality. Backed by Maxims so ofc they have that capability. Highlights were the humongous scallop with a very addictive spicy savoury curry sauce. The plump big pieces of clam with lemongrass. Signature dry aged ma yau so nice and meaty and fatty with a sour spicy tamarind glaze. Truly remarkable. Also really enjoyed the lobster vermicelli pot where the vermicelli was tastier than the lobster with all the sauce it absorbed! Complimentary milk bread yummy too. Must get their fries. Truly a really good and crispy yet fluffy and doesn’t get stale or soggy. Drink wise, I got the red bean coconut smoothie twice bc it’s so good. Classic CCT red bean ice but blended and just really refreshing

Good value for lunch. Good sized portions and pretty good service. Spacious seating means youre not cramped against each other like every other restaurant in Central.
