Kinmokusei
Hong Kong Opened May 2026
A 17th-floor omakase counter named for the osmanthus flower
The lift alone tells you this isn't a walk-in spot. Kinmokusei sits on the 17th floor of The Loop on Wellington Street, a single counter where seafood arrives several times a week and the chef talks through each course rather than letting the menu speak for itself.
The osmanthus flower it's named after shows up in the room's scent, not the food. It's part of the building's stack of high-end Japanese dining, now joined by Haeundae Galbi and Ninetta, that's turned one Wellington Street address into a vertical food hall.
