A full Swiss menu, fondue pots and all, in Kennedy Town
Cheese fondue, raclette scraped tableside and a rösti-and-steak combo anchor the dinner menu here, the kind of specific Swiss cooking Kennedy Town has never really had. The room leans into the theme too, all warm light and timber panelling built to look like a mountain dining room.
The neighbourhood's food scene has grown since the MTR arrived in 2014, but it stayed mostly Cantonese, Japanese and casual Western. Stübli is a proper Swiss restaurant rather than a fondue night tacked onto a wine list, worth the trip to the island's west end.

Fantastic restaurant, incredible service and the food was perfect. Great spot for something tasty and the fondue was delicious.

Had lunch. It is cooked beautifully for the steak. Unfortunately, what bring an awkward impression to me is the butter that comes with the bread. It would be better if the butter is served in a better looking container.

I don't eat Swiss food very often. The food at this restaurant was generally acceptable. The price wasn't great. The interior decor was simple. The tables were rather small.

I had a great dining experience yesterday. We ordered fondue, and the meat was absolutely amazing—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was also warm and welcoming. Nabin was friendly and helped us with suggestions for the food and drinks, which made the meal even better. Overall, it was a really enjoyable visit, and I’d definitely come back.

Being Swiss, we were excited to visit this new restaurant. The decoration is beautiful and we felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. Our server was lovely and took good care of us. However, some improvements could be made: The Rösti is deep fried and not really a Rösti. It was served with the Züri-Geschnetzeltes. This dish was also not traditional and cannot be equated with what is typically served in Switzerland. There is some room to refine the recipe. The Fondue (we ordered the small portion) was not typical. It was very heavy and difficult to get through. There was no garlic, kirsch and it felt too heavy. The bread was white and not half-white, and not a generous portion was given. Wanting a few extra pieces of bread, the server provided us with a few pieces but said ordinarily a full portion of bread had to ordered. We didn't feel the food was authentic. But on a positive note, beautiful decoration, good and well trained servers. We hope the food could be improved soon as we would like to become regular customers. We need more Swiss places in Hong Kong.
