Peng Yuan's Hunan cooking, resized for one

Peng Yuan built its name on banquet-hall Hunan food from Peng Chang-kuei, the chef credited with inventing General Tso's chicken. This spinoff near Xinyi Anhe shrinks that cooking down to a canteen order for one.

The suancaiyu, chicken-broth ramen and mouth-watering chicken all survive the downsizing. It looks like a hidden local canteen, and the lunch crowd found it fast anyway.
