Charleston's Italian, fifth location, Germantown

Indaco opened its fifth location on Adams Street in March 2026, bringing the Charleston group's Italian menu to Germantown with counter seating and a patio. Focaccia and polpette to start, then hand-rolled tagliatelle or radiatori.

The wood-fired pizzas carry Italian sausage and short rib and are large enough to share. Counter seats are walk-in, which is the way in on a Friday.

We had a great experience here. Well-informed and kind server, excellent food, and good selection of wines by the glass. The pizza is phenomenal (if you like your pizza crispy, tell them to add 30-60 sec of cooking time). It has a wonderful crust, excellent tomatoes and other ingredients (e.g., the spicy salami is highly recommended). All their pasta is homemade, and it shows. I particularly liked the squid ink orecchiette, my wife favored the caramello, and we both adored the charred broccoli side. (One point of feedback about the pasta presentation: It would be even more appetizing and refined if the sauces were better separated from the remaining ingredients. Would require a little blending at the table but would pay off with greater shape and color vibrance.) Hazelnut cake was terrific, nutty, creamy, not too sweet. We don't live here, but we'll highly recommend it to our local friends!

Indaco is a pretty good, not great neighborhood Italian restaurant, set in a modern bistro, including sidewalk seating, a full bar and very good wine list. Service was pleasant and attentive, but overwhelmed. The Lobster Tortellini was good, but the breadcrumbs distracted. The Mussels were also good, with a wonderful arrabbiata sauce some might find spicy. The Focaccia is very distinctive with a hard outer crust. We most enjoyed the Radiatori, served al dente with an excellent beef bolognese. The Zeppole were slightly over done, but still enjoyable dunked in the caramel. Parking is in the garage behind the restaurant.

Came here yesterday for my birthday with a group of friends. I made a reservation weeks prior and called twice just to make sure they could accommodate my party (10 people total) and some additional questions and the lady I spoke to was quick to interrupt me and just very short; almost like a condescending tone. I spoke to this same woman twice on two separate occasions and she still had the same mannerism as the first encounter. The day of the dinner, we were sat and noticed the menus had my name on it along with things that I was interested in (Titans, NSC, and fruity drinks) along with a little gift they had for me (I got a Titan’s themed coaster set and it was great. Go Titans!) It’s nice to know that this restaurant goes a little above to make sure that their guests feel special and I definitely felt it last night. Atmosphere was appealing, Kristin our waitress was phenomenal, and the food was delicious. Even though the hostess on the phone was discourteous, I won’t put that against the restaurant as a whole. Thank you Indaco for taking care of me and my friends last night. I appreciate the attention to detail and making my 29th birthday memorable!

Great restaurant! Me and my twin sister celebrate our Birthday! The staff was amazing, they went beyond our expectations they received us with personalized gifts and menu! The pasta and pizza super fresh and great portions! 5 stars too to the Lady at the Bar she created great cocktails for us! Great balance, ambiance is nice and sophisticated, we had celebrated our b-day in other restaurants but INDACO went above and beyond our expectations! Good job to the managers and servers!!

Went here for my birthday dinner with my fiancé and i must say it was the the most special a restaurant has ever made me feel! They asked what we were celebrating beforehand and things that I like to do/my hobbies- and then created a personalized menu with photos of them & even gifted me a watercolor paint set! It was so special. I loved the big windows/lighting inside. Not blaring loud like most Nashville restaurants. It was also nice to have space between tables / not be shoulder to shoulder or overhearing others’s convos. We got the Tagliatelle, Agnolotti, Lasagna Bianca, Lobster Tortellini, Burrata, Wood Fired White Beans & Tiramisu. My favorite was the lasagna Bianca - it was very unique & I love that it was “crisped” it the wood-fired oven. The homemade pasta was delicious. Food was warm and presentation was amazing 🤩The lobster tortellini was also delicious. Very unique flavors overall and good pairings. The tiramisu is also delicious - the bottom layer is more like a shortbread cookie than a ladyfinger- great texture. We parked a little bit away in street parking rather than the garage; sounds like this was the right move based on the 2 hr garage limit (meals here will take at least that amount of time). This was the only slight downside: wait times during the meal - it seemed like food came out quickly enough but they may be slightly understaffed from a waiting/bartending standpoint. But I know this restaurant just opened so they’re still working out the kinks. giving grace! I will definitely come back and want to try the weekend brunch! Thanks for making it such a special night.
