Samantha Bird's New York-style croissant rolls

Samantha Bird's signature is a New York-style croissant roll, which turns up in other people's kitchens almost as often as her own. She collaborated with The Crack Shack on a weekend breakfast sandwich stuffed with chicken skin butter, a whole omelet, pickled Fresno chiles, Fontina and Gruyère.

Relic Bageri opened at 845 15th Street in East Village in December 2024. Those collaborations come and go; the base pastry is always there.
