Indonesian-inflected Texas barbecue at Thrive City
Fikscue moved into Thrive City, the plaza beside the Chase Center, in May 2025. The barbecue is Texas in method and Indonesian in seasoning, which is the founders' background showing up in the rub rather than a fusion exercise.
Brisket runs out, as it does everywhere that smokes it properly, and an arena crowd empties a counter faster than a normal lunch service. Going on a night with nothing at the Chase Center is the safer plan.
