Hand-pulled biang biang noodles in a former hair salon
Chef Mendy Hu started Fortune Ivy as a pop-up before landing a permanent spot on Nguyen Huu Canh, in a room that used to be a hair salon. Get the biang biang, the wide, belt-like noodle pulled by hand to order.
Dishes run 90,000 to 320,000 dong, so a full table won't break the bank. The cooking leans home-style Chinese rather than banquet Chinese, and it's better for that.
