Rustic Oaxacan color and cooking on Fremont
The room borrows its palette straight from alebrijes, the brightly painted mythical creatures carved in Oaxaca that give the place its name. The cooking matches the walls: rustic rather than refined, which stands out on this stretch of Fremont.
A longtime Las Vegas cook, Paco Cortes owns the room. It opened in April 2025 in the Suite 310 space that had been Crash N Burn.

If you want authentic, clean, delicious and fresh Mexican food, come to Alebrijes on Fremont Street. 5 stars for service too! The location is upstairs. Take escalator to second floor then walk up a few steps to taste Mexico! Tacos are amazing!

We are from out of town and the reviews recommended to come. Such a great place for lunch! Loved the atmosphere and of course the food was so yummy! We had the mole enchiladas, birria tacos and flan. All excellent! The chips and salsa were amazing too!

Delicious food, I got quesabirria tacos along with the BEST rice and beans ever. Then our waitress brought us an amazing dessert. The margaritas are refreshing as well. The atmosphere is great, bright, clean, and friendly. If you are willing to walk a little further past the Fremont St. experience this place is a gem!

This little Oaxacan restaurant is cute, with ample seating. Spacious Bar. The food was delicious, We forgot to take pictures. Its a little hidden from Freemont Experience but definitely worth it, escaping the outside heat. A little moment to enjoy a some quiet from Vegas craziness. Family oriented.

Once we found it we agreed that it’s quite a find. The staff is super friendly and the service is attentive. House margarita was very good, nachos were really good and the steak burrito was excellent. You know how sometimes you get a burrito and 7 bites are rice, 7 are beans, and 4 are steak or chicken? Not here. Every bite had it all. Oh…and all their salsas are super fresh and tasty. Highly recommend (but go to the center of the strange building it’s in and take the elevator to the third floor. Worth the trip.
