Named for the cocktail it pours tableside from a cart

A roaming cart pours margaritas and carajillos right at the table, the espresso-and-Licor-43 cocktail that gives the place its name. Licor 43 itself is a Spanish liqueur built from more than forty ingredients.

The kitchen follows contemporary Mexico City cooking, not the Tex-Mex that dominates the rest of the street. It opened in June 2025 on Las Vegas Boulevard downtown.

This little bar is a MUST when visiting Downtown! perfect for date nights and group outings, great happy hour and amazing food. The owners,Alejandra and Javier, go entirely out of their way to make everyone feel valued. Incredibly humble, passionate dreamers who are always eager to offer insider tips or local recommendations for exploring the nearby Fremont Street area. (Sorry Mexico lost)

I walked into Carajillo last week after a tough day looking in on my aging father. I immediately felt welcomed. I was not in the mood for any of the loud/ touristic downtown Vegas spots. The first night I had the street tacos and a margarita which were delicious! I sat at the bar with Javier as he was busy whipping up margaritas, yet found time to chat with me. I went back the next day after being at the hospital all day and had a couple of tasty , authentic sipping tequila‘s recommended by Javier as we watched Colombia’s soccer match. The next day, before my flight back to the east coast, I decided to go back to watch a Mexico World Cup futbol game. I told Javier how much I liked mole and he graciously whipped up an order of chicken thighs with his homemade mole sauce (which he seemed very proud!) and it was outstanding 🤤) When you go to a restaurant and the chef wants to showcase his cooking skills, you know it’s going to be good! Thank you to Javier and Alexandra for your gracious hospitality! I will be back! Ross Also, how can you not love a place with a sign behind the bar that says “ All because two people fell in love”!! … keep up the good work you guys!

Great food experience. The salsa is the best! The brisket is amazing the carnitas are over the top. the atmosphere and the attention from the owners makes it feel like you’re having dinner with family and not at a restaurant. Support local and have a great time

Their queso and margs were fantastic! The owners were kind and pleasant. You can see the attention they have put into their establishment. We’ll be back. $8 margs for happy hour!

Absolutely delicious, hidden gem. The chips and salsa were fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor. Paired with the specialty coffee cocktails, queso fundido it made for an unforgettable meal. Tacos were also unmatched. Such a good spot. I’ll definitely be back to enjoy it again! Try it out you will be wanting to go back again!
